ADHD, Autism & Cognitive Assessments

GOALS Psychology offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments across the lifespan. Our clinicians are experienced in administering the WISC, WAIS, WIAT, MIGDAS, ADOS and Vinelands-3, and we write reports that are accepted by GPs, schools, psychiatrists, and the NDIS.

ADHD assessment

A multi-method assessment combining clinical interview, standardised rating scales (self, parent, teacher / partner), and cognitive testing where indicated. We assess for the inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, and combined presentations.

Autism assessment

Gold-standard autism assessments using MIGDAS-2 or ADOS-2 as appropriate, combined with clinical interview, developmental history, and cognitive testing where helpful. We write neuroaffirming reports that focus on your profile, not on deficits.

Cognitive assessment

WISC-V (ages 6–16) and WAIS-IV (adults) for cognitive profile, gifted identification, learning difficulties, and as part of broader diagnostic assessments. WIAT for specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia).

Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) & NDIS reports

Comprehensive FCAs for NDIS participants across all ages. Our reports include functional profiles across daily living, communication, social participation, and self-care, with recommendations for capacity-building funding.
